1. Agreeing not to have the back pass rule at some of the younger age groups. This is not only against the Laws Of Mini Soccer but is also not helping a goalkeeper to learn how to kick the ball off the ground. In some cases they are persuading young referees that this is okay. The goalie CANNOT pick up an intentional back pass in any age or format.
2. Managers turning up with a lot of players and then agreeing to play 6 v 6 or 7 v 7 instead of 5 v 5. This is against FA rules and defeats the object of the youth review which was to enable young players to have more touches. Please stick to 5 v 5.
3. Publishing results for under 10’s and below on websites, newspapers, Twitter and Facebook. This is against the standard code of rules so please don't do it yourselves and remind players and parents.
